South on Hwy 441 (from Gatlinburg, TN)- Follow 441 South through the Great Smoky Mtn. National Park. As you exit the park and enter Cherokee, NC, the famous Oconaluftee River Swinging Bridge will be on your left. It exits into Chief Saunooke Trading Post Mall and there you will find Mine Shaft.
- North on Hwy 441 (from Franklin, NC)- Follow 441 North into and through Cherokee, NC. Just before entering the Great Smoky Mtn. National Park, you will see the famous Oconaluftee River Swinging Bridge on your right. It exits into Chief Saunooke Trading Post Mall and there you will find Mine Shaft.
- South on Hwy 19 (from Maggie Valley)- Follow 19 South into Cherokee, NC. At the intersection of Hwy 19 and Hwy 441, turn right onto Hwy 441 North. Just before Hwy 441 North enters the Great Smoky Mtn. National Park, you will see the famous Oconaluftee River Swinging Bridge on your right. It exits into Chief Saunooke Trading Post Mall and there you will find Mine Shaft.
